Governor Northam appoints Will Reisinger to Virginia Clean Energy Advisory Board

On October 25, Governor Northam announced appointments to Virginia’s inaugural Clean Energy Advisory Board. Will Reisinger was one of seven individuals appointed to the Board.

The Clean Energy Advisory Board is the result of 2019 legislation (HB 2741) sponsored by Delegate Lashrecse Aird of Petersburg. One of the Board’s objectives is to help make clean energy, including rooftop solar, more accessible to low- and moderate-income Virginians. The Board will establish a pilot program for disbursing loans or rebates for the installation of solar energy infrastructure in low-income and moderate-income households throughout the Commonwealth.

The Board is comprised of representatives from the public and private sectors, including attorneys, financial professionals, and members of Virginia’s environmental non-profit community.
